Important note LCL: LCL shipments can only be transmitted in its own consol. Individual LCL shipments are not intended in the AMS filing.  
The basic requirement for using AMS is that your company has concluded a bond with US Customs and that a SCAC code has been assigned to your company.
Furthermore you have to transmit the vessel that arrives in the US ports - which may be by instance not the vessel leaving the European ports and is named in the bill of lading.

Optional master data settings for AMS filing

COMPANY → COPY & SPLIT → Copy B/L Data

When copying oceanfreight files, B/L and AMS data can be copied and transferred to the new file.

Select the Copy B/L Data checkbox to have this checkbox preset when copying a file.


COMPANY → COPY AND SPLIT → incl. AMS

When copying a position, the AMS tab is completely not copied. 

Activate the checkbox incl. AMS/ACI so that this checkbox is preset when copying a file.

This enables the transfer of the B/L data including AMS details when copying and splitting.
