The Edit tab is used to edit existing files: most functions are activated as soon as your cursor is located in a corresponding field.
  • Add line
  • Insert line
  • Delete line
  • Copy line
    or
  • Search
  • Start search
  • New search

The command to copy lines is especially useful when copying entire datasets in the basic data module.


Items in the Edit tab

The entry Copy line located in the Edit tab does NOT apply to files. The tab used to edit individual files is the File tab with its commands New and Open, including Copy.

The buttons

  • Copy
  • Paste
  • Cut
  • Insert contents
  • Delete
  • Select all

are available in the fields in the order.
