Deposit transmission format and use alternative address layout
Contents
Basic data
FWB 16 und 17
Within the address basic data you can also determine an alternative layout for the AWB transmission.
The system distinguishes between FWB16 and FWB17.
→ The FWB17 format is currently only supported by CHAMP.
If the checkbox is activated, the program will accept the address details from the Address main tab → Input.
The fields Name, Street, Location can be adjusted according to their field length.
FWB17 provides an additional each for the fields Name and Street, which are also limited to 35 characters.
If line Name3 has been filled in the address, these data are transmitted as Street2.
If you have not recorded a transmission format in the carrier, format FWB16 is transmitted by default.
If you have recorded FWB17 in the carrier but FWB16 in the addresses (instead of the alternative layout for FWB17), format FWB16 will be transmitted.
If neither of the alternative address layouts FWB16/FWB17 has been recorded, the address will be transmitted according to the address basic data.
We recommend to use the alternative layout for long company names and streets since the entries on the Input tab are truncated after 35 characters.
This may lead to AWB rework costs at the airline.
Alterntive address layout
The deviating address layout is marked in an address on the Altern. address layout sub tab.
