Date

The date from the AWB Main tab (eaairkopf_t.sig_carrier_date) is transmitted to the airline along with the AWB.

This field is usually the order date.

Since the airlines do NOT accept AWBs that are older than 3 days, the program changes the AWB date to the current date.

This requires that the checkbox Print AWB → Print with current date in the F6 window is activated.

Security information

The Securing date in segment SD is only transmitted if the field Security text is SPX - not unsecure.

The field Security text is transmitted (text format) from the field Security text.

Notify address

The notify address (A3) is not transmitted.

Information must be entered in the field Accounting Information.

Segment RTD

• The goods description in segment RTD can be transmitted with 11 lines with up to 20 characters each.

  The volume is transmitted next to the dimension lines. Dimensions starting with line 12 are cut upon transmission.

• Text lines of the goods description are transmitted in segment RTD.

  Text lines (eaware_t.kz_zeichen = 'J') are added to the goods description (eaware_t.inhalt) with separator 'blank' with line break.

Goods description

A goods description entered across multiple lines will be summarized for the transmission.

The summary is made per goods description line with up to 20 characters per line.

For consol or B2B shipment the system will display only "Consolidation as per" instead of "Consolidation as per attached cargo manifest", the remainder will be added to the other segments.

The transmission of the FHL incldues 65 characters per line with line breaks.

Telephone number

Many airlines reject an electronic AWB (FWB (master) und FHL (house)) if the telephone number of the shipper, consignee or notify is not entered for the address.

Therefore, the telephone number of the first contact person or the contact person with the EAWB qualifier is transmitted if no number is entered under ADDRESSES → ADDRESS in the field for the telephone number.

Additional contact person information as well as certain tax numbers and customs-relevant data are required for the eAWB transmission for certain countries.
