Changing the view in the mask editor

The Edit Mask command changes 2 things on the Mask set creation tab:

  • The toolbox is displayed on the left (instead of the sidebar)

  • On the right, the fields change on the complete tab - they are displayed with their database name.

Toolbox and editing area appear

The toolbox that is used to edit the masks now appears on the left side.

  • To do this, you must have the sidebar visible and pinned.

  • In case the sidebar is not activated, the toolbox appears only as a small info box on the left margin.

In the editing area on the right side, the individual objects are released for editing and all field names from the database are displayed:

  • Single or multiple objects can now be selected.

  • To select several objects, a frame can be drawn around them with the left mouse button or the CTRL key can be used to select individual objects.

  • Then use drag & drop to change the position of the selected objects.

The extensive functions of the Toolbox can be found under Toolbox
