Important differences
Qualifier from CS CODES in ADMIN
The qualifiers are codes_t entries (ART = ADR) which are supplied along with the update (CS codes in CS Admin in ADMIN).
Address designations from CODES in COMPANY
ATTENTION: The address designations displayed next to the address in the order still come from the master data table COMPANY → CODES!
Enter a new qualifier
To enter a new line, select the menu File → New or use open the context menu within the list and select Add line or Insert line.
In this new line you can create an address qualifier per client as well as mode and sector.
Also enter the address (A1-A9) that the qualifier refers to.
The qualifier itself specifies the type of this address.
Example assignment
The example below shows an assignment in airfreight export. Address A1 is assigned to qualifier SHP (Shipper) and address A6 to qualifier PUP (Pick Up).
Which address in which address field?
In the Address assignments tab in ADDRESSES, you can decide which addresses ought to be pre-assigned in which address field.Â
The assignment of the 8 order addresses (A1‑A8) to the corresponding qualifier is used for the security check in the airfreight export sector.
It is also used for the preallocation of the time for pickup and delivery on the Transport tab with PUP and DEL .
