• Convert addresses in ADMIN

Authorization object: ADRKTOCHANGE

You can change the account type and/or address account type of addresses.

There is no retroactive address conversion in the order files.

To convert an address, open the local menu in the address header data and select Change account type/no.

Automatic number assignment

After having selected the account type, a note appears: Automatic number assignment  behind the address number field, which is grayed out at the same time.

Then the address account number is assigned by the system, as there is a number range for it.

Deactivate number range

The new address number is assigned manually.

The Deactivate number range checkbox cancels the automatic address number assignment and enables the Address number field.

Fill or activate the fields New address, New address number and Deactivate number range and confirm with OK.

Checkbox New address number

If the checkbox New Address number is active, CargoSoft assigns a new account number to the address.

Afterwards the old account number no longer exists in the system.

Otherwise the old address number remains and only the account type is changed.

Checkbox Deactivate number range

To manually enter an account number, activate the checkbox Deactivate number range.

Additionally activate the checkbox New address number to be able to enter the address number.
