Search area

When searching for ZIP codes, you can also use the alternative name of a location, e.g. München → Munich, Köln → Cologne.
→ Enter the location or alternative name into the field Location.

The search for ZIP codes also contains the fields Exact city name (Köln) or Alternative city name (Cologne). 

You can enter multiple alternative names per entry in the ZIP basic data.

To do so, select an entry and type in alternative names in the lower section of the mask.

You can also indicate the language of this alternative name for information purposes.

ECM search 

The fields for the addresses belong to ECM and are used for the assignment of the laternative names per company (address) in ECM.

Alternative names are not provided by default.
