Goods description already exists

The goods description may already be filled, for instance if you have transferred a goods description from the left column to the Overview tab of the current service order via drag and drop.

Transfer of the goods description from the order

If the goods description is still empty, a mask to accept the goods description from the order appears when first opening the tab.

  • Use the checkboxes to select the lines you would like to accept.
    You can alternatively use the buttons located below the list.
    Click OK.

  • Additional fields/add-on fields from the mask editor are transferred from the goods description and the container data during conversion.

  • If you would not like to accept a goods description, click Cancel.
    You now have the option to manually enter the goods description.

Subsequent acceptance

If you would like to transfer a goods description subsequently, select the context menu item Copy goods description from.

Copy container

To copy entire containers, select Copy container.
→ The copy function is only executed if this is really a container.
→ You can only copy 1 container at a time.

The container numbers in the copied dataset (eaware_t.zeichen and eawarecont_t.container_nr) are replaced by a hyphen.

New container numbers must be entered manually.

All dependent tables are copied (customs, dangerous goods, etc.).
Addresses or texts entered in the container are also copied, just like all goods line (level 2) belonging to the container.

After the copying process, the copied container is the current dataset.

Customs sub tab

Depending on the selected type, the program checks the registration number.

In case of registration number ATB or ATX, the system checks whether

  • the entered value begins with AT, and whether

  • a valid year (< = current year)

  • a valid month (1-12)

  • and a valid German customs office has been entered.

A plausibility check is also carried out in case of registration number MRN.
