Update sub files in consol files (HBL)

In consol files, the context menu on the Transport tab contains the command Update house files.

This function is available in Seafreight import and export as well as transport.

A new mask opens.
Data entered in the upper section are written into the sub files of the consol (HB/L files).
If these data are already entered in the consol file, data from the consol are pre-assigned.

All fields in the upper section override those in the house files. This does not apply to blank fields; these fields are not cleared in the files.

This makes it possible to update specific fields.

Select the context menu item Clear fields to clear the entry fields pre-assigned from the consol file.

Deactivate the checkboxes in front of the files to exclude them from the update. The data are only entered into activated files as well as the consol file.

The entered data are always accepted into the consol file!

The checkbox Edit blank fields only in the lower section of the mask prevents the overriding of data. If this checkbox is activated, only blank fields are filled with the update.

Update function for consol files

This update function originates from the gateway processing for consols. See gateway function for detailed information about airfreight and seafreight gateway branches.

Upon arrival of status messages of the airlines (e.g. DEP Departure), data can automatically be entered into the Transport tab.

If a port is transmitted upon receipt of a status, it is compared to the port of arrival or departure of the order. This requires that the status has the fills-field rule 002 or 003.

→ If the port matches those in the order, the fills-field rule takes effect.

→ If the port does not match, this rule is not taken into consideration and the fields of the Transport tab are not filled.

This applies to all EDI standard interfaces such as Oceanbooking, IMP, etc.
