Enter the total weight of the goods.

Since 2021, the weight field has been a mandatory field for transferring the booking.

Define weight as a required field

In ocean booking, the Weight field can be defined as a mandatory field.

If the weight is not entered, an error message appears as a pop-up message appears!

When setting up, you can choose between

  • Save is canceled or

  • only display message

and it is saved.

Goods description
Marks

Texts can be inserted in the goods description and marks and numbers area. Line breaks are adopted and can also be entered manually.

The fields are limited to 512 characters.

Enter FCL container type and quantity/packaging code 

Please note:
When the goods are transferred, the UN code is transferred from the packaging codes.
If this is not filled in the master data ORDER → PACKAGING CODES, an error may be reported back by the carrier.

A line with 2x40' containers is entered on the Container tab of the booking:

The total number of packages to be loaded and the total weight are entered on the Goods tab.

Pls note: The total of all goods to be loaded is recorded here. The subsequent breakdown per container is not relevant here.
