At this point you can change the displayed field names: Field names can be renamed or translated within the mask.
Select the mask in the Mask Set Creation tab and choose Edit Mask from the context menu.
The functions Edit visible expression, Edit Enabled and Translate Value are only enabled in the edit mode of the mask.
The Translate value entry also changes the headings and group boxes from the sample templates.
The renaming/translations are immediately called and displayed for the mask (German and English).

Call up a main mask

Call up a main mask in the mask set → here: Main mask → Order → BN Projects global.

The first tab is displayed automatically → in CS always the header data tab.

If you want to rename a field in another tab, select the corresponding tab in the tab control → here: Statistics.

You can select the tabs whose Mask/Maskset column contains an entry and a magnifying glass for the search function.

Select Edit mask

Open the context menu in the tab and select the Edit mask entry.

The functions Edit Visibility, Edit Enabled and Translate Value are only enabled in the edit mode of the mask.

Translate (rename) value 

To bring an object into translation, select it and use the Translate value item in the right mouse menu.

Now the text is loaded into the translation window and can be edited there.

To do this, place the cursor in the Translation field and overwrite the value it contains.

Confirm the change with the TAB key and the entry is accepted and displayed in the Translation box as well as in the mask on the right.

This works the same way with group frames and headings.

When you are done editing the mask, use the right mouse menu and select Finish mask editing.

The following dialog appears:

  • Select Yes to save the mask.
  • Select No to discard the changes.
  • Select Cancel to continue editing.



Translate term to other language

Mask language E in the toolbox

The toolbox opens on the left side of the screen.

Within the toolbox, use the Mask language drop-down field to specify the language in which the translation of the value will take effect.

Then click on the field to be translated in the mask (e.g. here Place of determination) and select the context menu item Translate value.

The term is automatically transferred to the Translation section.

Overwrite this value with the desired translation and press the TAB key.
