Information about eBooking
The following tabs are used for eBooking:
AWB Main tab
Goods and dimensions tab
eBooking tab
Address tab Airfreight order
If filled, the addresses of the shipper and consignee are transmitted along with the booking request.
These are not required fields.
Routing on AWB Main tab
The airport of departure, the routing and destination entered on the AWB Main tab are transmitted to the airline.
Action codes are only released for entry LH.
The following variants of the routing and destination line are possible:
to/via | by | Number | Date |
---|---|---|---|
Destination | LH | ||
Destination | LH | Flight number | Flight date |
The routing and destination fields should be filled the same way.
Luthansa does not accept a combination of operational flight and flight number LH0000 within the routing.
If flight number and date are not filled, LH0000 is transmitted to Lufthansa by default. NA is pre-assigned by default (alternative flight).
If you are working with an operational flight (i.e. flight number is filled), the flight number is transmitted if indicated once again accordingly in the eBooking tab.
NN is pre-assigned by default (no alternative). The action code can be modified.
If you have entered an allotment no., CA is pre-assigned for the action code.
→ Per routing you can enter the action code and one allotment no.
Alloment ID
Allotment nos. are contracts between the agent and Lufthansa.
Allotment nos. contain the product (td. Flash/td.X/td.pro) and flights.
Alloment IDs can be recorded in basic data AIRFREIGHT → ALLOTMENTS and selected in the order.
Airport codes
eBooking requires airport codes instead of country codes.
Example:
LON → London will not be processed since LH only operates via Heathrow, i.e. 1 out of 4 airports in London.
In this case you need to use airport code LHR.

Shipment data on the Goods and Dimensions tab
Quantity, weight and dimensions from the goods description are also transferred to eBooking as well as information about transportability.
If there is only one volume line for a package line, the weight of the package line is pre-assigned automatically.
The weight needs to be changed accordingly if you require multiple volume lines.
1 package > 150 kgs: If one package weights more than 150 kgs, this package should be displayed separately in the volume line due to the check for loading options.
The volume can be entered on the eBooking tab without the individual dimensions.
For dimensions greater than 110 x 65 x 65 cm, the volume line needs to be filled in the goods description due to the check for loading options.
If the dimensions are not yet known at the time of the booking, you can fill the volume field on the eBooking tab.
The booking should be repeated after you have received the dimensions.
Special information on the eBooking tab
Information specific to eBooking are located on the eBooking tab.
The MAWB no. can be assigned via the F6 menu as usual.
