Here the displayed fields of the AWB Main-A tab are described.

Special features, deviations, dependencies, functions etc. of individual AWB types are explained in the corresponding AWB types.

The AWB types with their possibilities are treated as a separate main page in our new air cargo description → AWB types - overview and functions.

NEW: Head line in Airfreight order


Description of the head line fields

FieldDescriptionLink/Basic data/Presettings
Order dateThe order date is preset from the new file creation window.

AWB typeThe AWB type is displayed after you have selected an AWB type for the new file during file creation.

AWB number

Assign the AWB number in this field via the context menu - or manually, depending on your settings.

The entry in the context menu is only enabled when all mandatory fields are filled in.

 

DGR

Mark the order as a dangerous goods order.

    • This checkbox is activated automatically if the checkbox Dangerous goods was activated on file creation.
    • Is also activated by entering dangerous goods data to the goods description.

  • The DGR drop-down list defaults to GEN.

If the dangerous goods indicator is activated when a new order is created, the field becomes mandatory and empty.
An entry must be made by the user.

The DGR indicator is also used like GSA and Service for rate determination (net rate, customer rate).

When you deactivate the checkbox, the system will issue a query asking whether you would like to delete all dangerous goods data.

Code for general cargo.

Select the indicator for your goods from the dropdown box.

  • The DGR drop-down list defaults to GEN.

Departure/DestinationThe departure airport code and arrival airport code are automatically filled if you have filled the routing from/to in the middle section.

CarrierThe carrier code is filled automatically if the Carrier field in the section Routing is filled.

MAWBThe master AWB number is displayed according to the AWB type.
