Addresses can contain information, details and references. 
These can be stored in the master data of an address → Memo tab in ADDRESSES or entered in the order at the address and saved there. They are then automatically written to the master data → pls see below.
An icon in front of an address in the order indicates an address memo. By clicking on the memo icon, notes become visible.

Memo function

An address memo

  • can be filled with general information in the basic data or
  • can be entered directly in the order.

Notes made in the order for an address are saved in the master data. They are linked to the address and are visible in every order that contains this address.


Memos

This function is not to be confused with the ORDER MEMOS.

→ Order memos are located in the quick launch bar of the file menu.

Address memo without content

You can store and save information in the order for an address so that this info is always attached to the address.

This information/s will be saved to the address and will appear in all orders where the address is used.

Click the address memo icon and enter the text for the address.

Afterwards pls use the Save icon .

The Address Memo icon is highlighted in red and shows an i-sign.

This shows that there is information stored at this address, in the Memo tab in ADDRESSES.

Click this button to display the information.

To close the window use the Close icon .


Automatic opening of the Address memo

The content of an address memo entered in the master data can be faded in automatically when the address is used in the order.

Presettings in the basic data ADDRESSES → Header date and Memo tab

Activate the checkbox Show memo in file in the master data of an address so that the content of the Memo tab in ADDRESSES is automatically faded in the order.

Fill the Memo tab with the desired information.

When the content is displayed?

This works in 

  • newly created files and
  • copied files.
  • When reopening an existing position, there is no automatic display of the content.

Where is the window displayed?

In the order, the address remarks window opens automatically when you enter an address

  • in the Header data tab
  • in the Addresses tab
  • in the Invoicing - Voucher header data tab as the voucher recipient.
