The ACI main tab Airfreight contains the tabs ACI, (ACI) Consolidation and EDI Status.

The two tabs ACI and (ACI) Consolidation are enabled or disabled depending on the AWB type.


Tab control

The ACI tab is enabled and the data set is generated, at the

  • HAWB
  • B2B
  • MHAWB
  • SMAWB (with empf_von_partner = J)

The ACI consolidation tab is enabled at the

  • CON
  • MAWB
  • B2B
  • MHAWB
  • SMAWB (with empf_von_partner = N)

Field description

FieldFunction
Enter addresses in address field
  • You can write [A1]-[A9] in the address number line and the corresponding address will be pulled from the order tab.
  • The address can be entered manually.
  • A memo for an address is opened by double-clicking the button.
    The blue [i] in the button indicates that information is available.

Shipper

The address of the sender is taken from the order and can also be changed.

Consignee

The address of the sender is taken from the order and can also be changed.

The location codes for the fields Port of Discharge (CBSA code) and Port of Destination/Exit (CBSA code) can be stored at the address of the consignee.

Notify party

The address of the notify is preset from the order.

Del. Address

The agent in the Destination airport can be specified in this field.

The delivery address is NOT preassigned from the order.

You can store contact data for the Status Notification Party field behind this address (see field description below).

Consolidator

The consolidator is preset from the order.


Carrier

Airline code from Carrier in AIRFREIGHT.

Forwarder

Forwarder code from Branches in COMPANY.

→ Pls see ACI Airfreight setup.

Movement

The field is preset with the value Imported.

A selection is available via dropdown menu.

Transit to US Merchant= 23In transit to US
Goods that are imported= 24 ImportedStandard procedure
Foreign goods that remain on board= 26 FROB - freight remaining on board

Mode TransportIn Airfreight preassigned with Air Transport.


SNP functions

There are 2 ways to forward status information to third parties: 

  1. By e-mail or SMS
  2. Per EDI

Enter your details as the contact person:

Select Freight Forwarder from the dropdown box.
8xxx - forwarder code of the forwarder who will receive the message.

Description

Basic data and presettings

Port of Discharge (CBSA code)

These are location codes specified by Canadian Customs.

Information about the exact unloading location in Airfreight is provided by the carrier/agent.

These location codes can be stored at the consignee address.

This will automatically fill the fields when the consignee is selected....

Note: If the consignee address is deleted or changed in the order, a query is made as to whether the location codes should also be deleted/changed.

Deposit the qualifier 

  • [ACIAL] = ACI Airfreight Location Code and
  • [ACIAW] = ACI Airfreight Location Code.


Port of Destination/Exit (CBSA code)



Previous CCN

Previous Cargo Control Number

In Airfreight, the Previous CCN is the master AWB number, it is preassigned.

HBL CCN

House AWB reference number = forwarder code plus file number.

For the ACI declaration the HBL CCN is used as the forwarder's reference for a House AWB.

Amendmentcode

This amendment code must be applied when there is a change to the AWB and the ACI is resent. 

Info

There are two types of amendments:

The amendment codes for ACI data of the HAWB on the ACI tab and
the amendment codes for close messages of the MAWB on the ACI consolidation tab.


Dropdown list about the type of amendment - the amendment codes are given by the Canadian Customs and are stored in the master data.

Is consolidated

Checkbox for consolidated shipments.

→ Pls see SMAWB and MHAWB.
