Basic data for this function

Start the data transmission

The data transmission can be triggered via the context menu on the Overview tab.

Send order

After you have created an order and entered all required data, you can start the transmission to Portbase.
Select the order on the Overview tab (only required in case of multiple orders) and transmit it to Portbase via the local menu entry Send order.

Before sending, the system verifies all required entries: Document type, Gross weight, Document number (MRN).

Status information about the sending process

The status bar displays additional information about the order status.
Refresh by clicking on the Reload button.

Portbase - Status technically ok and functionally ok:

If the order has been transmitted to Portbase technically and functionally ok, this is indicated by a green symbol in the columns Technically ok and Functionally ok.
In case of a negative message, switch to the History tab to see the response from Portbase.

Resend order

Resending an application is only possible with status [Not in Transmission], i.e. Portbase has already returned a status after you have sent.
Sending is only possible up to status [0][Export shipment not (completely) arrived]!

In case of modifications or transmission errors you can edit the order and send it again.
If the order is blocked, select the context menu entry Unlock order.

For example, this may be necessary if Technically ok or Functionally ok do not show a positive response.

Edit the order and send again

To change an order, modify the relevent details and use the command [Send order].

→ This is only possible if Portbase has already sent a response.

Modifications are no longer possible as of a status > 0.

A corresponding entry is made on the History tab:

→ History tab - No transmission of changes for a status > 0:

Status - Change transmitted:

Cancel an order

To cancel an order, select the context menu entry Cancel order.

It is only possible to cancel an order if Portbase has already sent a response.
Cancelations are no longer possible with a status > 0.

→ Send cancelation:

After you have sent the cancelation, a green checkbox appears underneath Cancellation sent.
All other checkboxes that had been activated before are cleared.
