Address assignments
Just like in the HAWB, the entries in this file are made on the AWB Main tab.
- The shipper address (A1) is automatically filled with the AWB agent.
You can change the address if necessary. - Like in a consol, the DES Agent is printed in address field A4 as consignee in the SMAWB.
The DES agent is pre-assigned through the entry of the airport on the AWB Main tab or the selection of a flight. - If there is no entry in address A4, address A2 (consignee) is printed as the consignee in the SMAWB instead.
- The AWB agent is printed as the carrier in the AWB.
Changes can be made via EDIT.
SMAWB for or from a partner
On the AWB Main tab in the head line you can see whether this is a SMAWB that you have received from a partner or one that you would like to send to a partner.
- Send to partner: You send your SMAWB to a partner to be loaded in their consol.
- Received from partner: You have received a SMAWB from a partner to be loaded in your own consol.
Select the partner from the dropdown list. The partner must be recorded as EDI partner in ADMIN in the basic data.
Enter SMAWB number
The SMAWB receives its own AWB number.
- The number is assigned via the F6 menu.
- Manual assignment is also possible.
Enter Carrier MAWB number
Recording the Carrier MAWB number is explained on pages
because of existing differences.
Remove SMAWB number
You can also remove the sub master AWB number from the file.
- This number is removed entirely and cannot be returned to a stock.
- Open the context menu on the AWB Main tab and select → Remove sub master AWB number.
Convert sub master
- You can convert a sub master (SMAWB) into a CONSOL or IATA AWB.
- It is not possible to convert an AWB into a SMAWB.
Select File → Open and enter the file number.
Click on the button Conversion.
Remove all added HAWBs and the sub master number before the conversion!
