Entries in Order → Header data
1. In the order, the vessel number must be drawn from the shipping list so that the relevant data, such as flag, is also reported to U.S. Customs.
2. Please ensure to always use the 5-digit UN location codes since these are the only codes transmitted to US customs.
3. Please enter the port of loading and port of discharge with the UN location code in the order. These details are automatically accepted into AMS and cannot be changed from there.
Enter INCOMING vessel
When registering for the AMS, the vessel that arrives in the USA must be transferred.
Example:
Ship 1 sails from Hamburg to Bilbao; Ship 2 sails from Bilbao to Chicago.
→ The registration must be made with ship 2. Ship 1 is mentioned in the B / L.Ship 2 is now transmitted in the AMS registration if it is filled in the order.
Hint
To do this, fields can be added via the mask editor:
Vessel name (eakopf_t.schiff2_name2)
IMO (eakopf_t.schiff2_imo_code)
Voyage no. (eakopf_t.reise2_nr)
Call sign (eakopf_t.schiff2_rufzeichen)
Departure date for this Transhipment = eakopf_t.gp_abf_tship_dat
If these fields are not filled, the data will be transferred as before.
Entries in Order → Description of goods
1. These details are sent from the B-/M-version, just like the B/L transmission (if B is not filled, version M is used instead).
2. The HS codes must be entered in the description of goods.
3. The seal no. for containers must be entered in the Seal no. field on the Container sub tab.
Entries on the B/L tab
You can only send from the House B/L file. Please only enter the actual shipper and consignee in the B/L tab header data!
Entries on the B/L Instructions tab
The fields Shipping agent, OB/L and HB/L number must always be filled.
SCAC code in OB/L number
INFO:
The B/L number is written by CargoSoft from the booking confirmation of the Oceanbooking into the order and into the BL and some carriers already transmit the B/L number including the SCAC code.
Please look in Carrier Bookingnumber - Respones in ocean booking.
