The following basic data settings are necessary to be able to use this interface.
Contents
Function in the order
AIRFREIGHT → AIR PARAMETER
Activate SMAWB
The AWB type SUB-Master is only available on file entry if this function has been activated in the basic data menu AIRFREIGHT → AIR PARAMETER → Consol tab.
→
ADMIN → NUMBER RANGES
Configure SMAWB number
The SMAWB needs a prefix and a separate number range for the number.
The new number range is recorded in the basic data ADMIN → NUMMERNKREISE.
A start value can be entered into the field Current no.
AIRFREIGHT → AWB AGENTS
Assign SMAWB number per AWB agent
The number range can be assigned to the AWB agent at AIRFREIGHT → AWB AGENTS.
You can use one number range multiple times or record one per AWB agent.
For SMAWBS you can also use the number range used for HAWBs. A distinction is made by means of the prefix.
Please record a prefix with a maximum of three characters.
ADMIN → EDI → EDI PARTNER
Record EDI partner for interfaces
If interfaces are set up to receive or send SMAWBs from partners, the partners must be stored in the master data.
The partner must also be given an abbreviation so that only those EDI partners can be selected in the SMAWB that participate in this coloading procedure.
EDI partners must be created even if no interface is activated. The AWB Main tab shows who the partner is (for information).
In addition, the program checks whether the EDI partner has been entered when the F6 key is pressed for SMAWBs that are set for sending.
In the EDI PARTNER master data, the name must be coordinated with the interface setup.
On the Clients tab, enter the required clients with the abbreviation SMAWB in the EDI function field.
→ Use this to ensure that the partner can be selected on the AWB Main tab.
ADMIN → EDI-CODEWANDLUNGEN
To ensure that the system transfers the correct addresses into the interface file upon exporting the AWB data, please select the CargoSoft addresses from which the system will extract shipper, consignee and notify data.
The setup takes place per EDI partner and, if necessary, also per AWB type.
The entry ADR_AIR_EXP in the field Table is used for all AWB types.
ADR_AIR_EXP_SMAWB is used if you would like to use a different entry for the SMAWB.
This dataset is required because the consignee is entered in address field A4 (=DES AGENT) in a SMAWB.
CZ = Shipper
CN = Consignee
N1 = Notify
EA = DES Agent
