Standard preallocations made by CargoSoft

Standard preallocations in the basic data menu ADMIN → PREALLOCATIONS are supplied with the CargoSoft installation.  

Service type VGM has the standard preallocation CS VGM VERMAS.

This preallocation set msut be imported on configuration of the VGM interface → The setup is performed by CargoSoft Consulting.

The following basic data settings are necessary to be able to use this interface.

ADMIN → PREALLOCATIONS

These settings define that

  • the goods description is automatically accepted from the container lines,

  • the shipper address with qualifier SHP (order) is accepted into the address field with qualifier TPSHP in the service order,
    Note: In a B2B, the actual sender is accepted into the VGM header data. The shipper address can be modified as necessary.

  • the branch address with qualifier [NL] is accepted into the address field with qualifier TPINV in the service order,

  • the carrier address with qualifier CAR (order) is accepted into the address field with qualifier TPTRA in the service order.



ADMIN → ADDRESS QUALIFIERS

Edit address qualifiers

An order address must be assigned to qualifier [CAR], e.g. address A5, in the ADDRESS QUALIFIER so that the carrier address from the order can be pre-assigned in the service order.

The carrier address must be entered in this address field (here: A5) in the order.


COMPANY → SERVICES

Preallocation for the Services tab

Enter the address qualifier [CAR] into the field Address so that carrier address A5 from the order is pre-assigned in the carrier address field in the service order by default.

The preallocation set CS VGM VERMAS entered in basic data ADMIN → PREALLOCATIONS only takes effect if it is recorded in the field Preallocation new file.
