Preconditions for editing the flight release

Only with this authorization object the field Releases will be displayed in the last column in the overview and can be edited.

  • Flight lines can only be released for own flights to EDI partners.
If you have received flight lines from partners via interface, the release must be for the own branches.
→ The selection of an EDI partner is blocked in this case.

  • The flights are released directly in the Consol flight plan in the airfreight order processing.
→ To do this, select the Consol flight plan menu and create a new flight plan.

Release via field Releases

By double-clicking in the field Releases the following window opens:

image-20240318-172334.png

Activate the checkboxes of the branches and EDI partners you would like to release the data to.
→ Click on the button Send to release.

The mask closes automatically. The overview will show the branches and EDI partners in the field Releases.

The width of the field is limited and may therefore display only some of the branches and EDI partners.

Open the mask again via double click to see all releases.

Open the window again:

  • For the branches you can remove the check mark, thereby removing the release for the branch.

  • When sending to EDI partners, the release window shows whether the dispatch is still pending with the status intended or whether it has already been sent with the status sent.

  • By activating the checkmark again, sending can be repeated.

Release without MAWB number

Flight lines may only be released if a MAWB number is available.

If you try to open the release window anyway, you will receive the following message.

View released flight lines

Viewing or searching for flights can be done in the Search Flights menu or directly in the order line on the AWB Main tab.

In the Flight no. field, the flight search can be accessed by double-clicking.

  • Only released flights are displayed.

  • Only exception: User with authorization CONSOLFP_ADMIN see all flights!

Send flight details to an EDI partner

You can send via the release mask as described above.

You can send again at any time by activating the checkbox next to the EDI partner - this generates a new file.

Cancellations or udpates cannot be sent.

When sending to an EDI partner, the system makes an entry in the table edisend_t.

The interface takes these data and transmits the XML file to the partner.

edisend_t.Status

Description

edisend_t.Status

Description

J

Meant to be sent.

N

Has already been sent; data collected by the EDI interface.

NULL

Only if the data have never been sent.

This has the following consequences for the release mask:

1. After you have activated the checkbox, the Send status will show pending.

2. After the interface has collected and transmitted the data, the status will be changed to sent.

3. CargoSoft automatically removes the checkmark.

4. Activate the checkbox to send again.

5. The status once again shows pending or sent.

Receive flight details from EDI partners

Flights can be received by EDI partners via an interface.

These are imported into the program Create a new consol flight plan.

The EDI partner field is filled with the partner who sent the flight.

The client of the sender is displayed in case of a transmission within CargoSoft from one client to another.
→ If you receive another flight for the same flight plan, this flight will be added to the existing flight plan.
The program identifies the flight plan by its description.

  • Flight lines from partners are non-editable.

  • You can only edit the fields DES Agent and Release.

  • Flight lines from partners can be deleted.

These flight lines can only be released for branches.
Flights from partnes cannot be sent to other EDI partners.

MAWB numbers in flight lines from partnes cannot be returned to the AWB stock.
