Fields order date and port link

Order date
and
file number generation

 

The order date is pre-assigned according to entries made in the file entry mask.

This date may be modified → Edit date fields.

Depending on your basic data settings, either the order date or departure/arrival date is used for the generation of the file number.

Port link field in the order

Select one of the following options in the dropdown menu:

  • File without port connection

  • Dakosy

  • BHT

  • Portbase

The selection of the port of shipment affects the subsequent automatic setup of the Port tab and the linked external systems required for the processing of the quay request.

Enter the location codes for the places along the transport route and confirm by pressing the TAB key → the name of the location is automatically entered in the corresponding field.

A search function with access to the relevant basic data table is available in each of the code fields.

Every port/location consists of 2 fields: the code field and the description/full name.

You have the option to

  • enter the code of a location and press the Tab key (the name appears automatically) →

  • only enter the description into the second field.

  • The field Location code only accepts valid entries from basic data ORDER → LOCATIONS.

  • Press F2 or double click into the first field to open a search mask.
    Here you can search using certain criteria or see all available locations by pressing F3.

Preallocation:
You have the option to pre-assign the place of receipt with the port of loading and the destination with the port of discharge in ... 
... the basic data COMPANY → GENERAL COMPANY PARAMETER → Order data 2 tab → section Preallocation pl. of receipt/final destin.

Delivery term

The delivery term consists of 2 fields: the code field and the description/full name.

If you enter the delivery term code,

  • either the description,

  • or the port of discharge appears automatically.

The latter requires the activation of the corresponding function in the basic data.
This setting determines that the location of the port of discharge is entered automatically upon entry of any delivery term.
