Registration as private person

When registering as a private person, this is automatically transferred to MASTER DATA → PERSONS.

Registration as company

When registering as a company, this is automatically transferred to MASTER DATA → COMPANIES and the corresponding person is saved in MASTER DATA → PERSONS.

An information about it is sent per email to the system owner.

The user automatically gets a predefinied role Eforwarding User.

The company gets at first the function Unverified.

You can search for this company with the company type unverified in ECM → MASTER DATA → COMPANIES → COMPANIES.

Normally the company is first checked by the forwarding agency and then saved to the TMS clientbase with a customer account number.
The address will then be transferred to ECM.

That means there are now two companies in ECM:

  • One created in eForwarding by the customer and

  • one created by the forwarding agency in TMS.

Attention: These two companies have to be merged in ECM!

For that click the button Merge Mode.

Enable the checkbox Merge in both companies.  

Select the checkbox Keep for the company transferred from TMS, they might differ in the label.

Confirm the selection with Merge Object and the following security check.

In the available company the checkbox in function Unverified Company should now be disabled.

Default company for rate inquiries without login

If it should be possible to start a rate query for anonymous user, there has to be created a default company with selling contracts and without a defined customer in MASTER DATA → COMPANIES.

The default-search company needs both relations in the Companies tab:

  • Connection with Other (to) to head company (respectively head company – Other (from) → default company)

  • Connection with Other (from) to head company (respectively head company Other (from) → default company search)

Necessary company functions in MASTER DATA → COMPANIES → FUNCTIONS:

  • EDI Partner

  • Rate Contract Owner (Buying)

  • Rate Contract Holder (Selling)

  • Customer

EDI Accounts

There must be an entry for the default company address in ACCESS RIGHTS → EDI ACCOUNT:

  • Username: eForwarding_guest

  • PW: eForwarding_guest.

This EDI Account is deposited in the eForwarding settings in default rate search user.

Customer Companies

Companies created for registered eForwarding users need following properties in the Companies tab in MASTER DATA → COMPANIES → COMPANIES:

  • Connection with Other (to) to head company (respectively head company – Other (from) → default-search company)

  • Connection with Other (from) to head company (respectively head company – other (to) → default search company)

The connections are automatically created when a company is newly created in eForwarding.

Company Functions in MASTER DATA → COMPANIES → FUNCTIONS:

  • Rate Contract Owner (Buying)

  • Rate Contract Holder (Selling)

  • Customer

When a company is created while registering in eForwarding, first the function Unverified is set.

The above mentioned functions have to be set manually by the system owner.
