Set security status in the AWB

Variant W

The status in text field Security Text is not set by the check, meaning the user must manually enter the security status.

  • If an address is changed, the user must change (if required) the status in text field Security Text on the AWB Main Tab.

  • If the order is copied, a recheck is performed and the status in text field Security Text is cleared by the system.

Automatic checking means that the order entry takes a little more time.
The system must await the check of the individual address before the next address field can be entered.

Variant A

The status in text field Security Text is set by the check based on the collection address (address qualification PUP).

If the collection address is a regulated agent, status UNSECURE (U1) is always entered by the system.

Status SPX (D1) is only set for a successful check of a KC validation number.

If the order is copied, the status in text field Security Text is cleared by the system.
The check is started automatically and the status is set at the latest when the F6 menu is called.

Consol AWB and B2B

CONSOL

The status text in the Consol is set on adding the HAWBs.

  • If at least 1 HAWB is unsecure, unsecure is also entered in the Consol (Code U1).

  • If all HAWBs are secure, SPX is entered (Code D2).

When using FAIR@Link, the received status for the HAWB is set accordingly in the console file, if this is not already available (see FAIR@Link export).

For the consolidation, you can store your own code entries with the type = SPC.

B2B

In the B2B, HAWB and MAWB are synchronized with each other. A query appears when the text is changed in the MAWB.

Here you can select whether the text is to be synchronized with the HAWB. It is therefore possible to record a different text in the MAWB.

If the security status is changed in the HAWB, it is still synchronized, i.e. the same text is entered in the MAWB.

In the B2B, the placeholders are filled with the validation numbers from the HAWB.

Modifications or updates of the number can thus only be made with addresses, which are changed in the HAWB. It must be noted that an update occurs when changing e.g. the DES Agent (A4) because this address only exists for one B2B file.

If you change the shipper in the master after the creation of a B2B or create a different shipper in the house so that the shipper in the master is different from the shipper in the House, the display of the security status next to the shipper address in the master is removed.

The shipper of the HAWB is always considered for the shipper check.

Manual entry in export and transport files

Authorization object: CANCHANGELBASTATUS + CHANGELBASTATUSAIRTRANSPORT

Users with authorization CHANGELBASTATUSAIRTRANSPORT can manually enter a security status into the field Security text in airfreight export and transport orders.

The dropdown menu contains entries from ADMIN → CS ADMIN → CS CODES with TYPE = SPT.

The placeholders #A1 - #A9 (for order addresses) and the placeholder #BRANCH (for the branch of the file) can be used for the validation number in the texts.

The validation number is determined from the respective address in ADDRESSES → ADRESSES → Security tab → field Validation no. Regulated agent (adr_security_t.lba_rac_ra_nr).

If the application is unable to replace a placeholder due to missing basic data, the placeholders #ERR_ADDR_A1# -#ERR_ADDR_A9# or #ERR_BRANCH will be inserted instead.

The entry or modifications of the security status in the file are saved in the SYS Log of the file.

Prevent manual editing

Authorization object: DONOTEDITLBASTATUS

The security status in Airfreight Export and Transport Shipments can be entered by the user with the appropriate authorization.
These authorizations allow the user to select the security status from the dropdown menu and edit it manually.

The above mentioned authorization prohibits the manual editing of the field text_known_shp.
However, selecting an SPX code from the dropdown menu is still possible.

Assign the authorization DONOTEDITLBASTATUS to an authorization profile to allow the user to select a security status from the dropdown but not to manually edit this status.

Air security check variant N (no check)

If the setting in the basic data is that NO check is performed, the Security text remains empty.

The field also remains empty for consolidation.
