Basic data
Select HAWBs via context menu
Select the context menu entry Select HAWBs. The functions correspond to those of the standard CargoSoft consolidation.
You can load HAWBs and/or MHAWBs in a SMAWB. SMAWB within a SMAWB is not possible.
The further consolidation procedure corresponds to the standard procedure in the consol.
Edit SMAWB goods description when consolidating
The goods description is filled through the consolidation.
The consol text is pre-assigned with details from the air parameters.
Changes can be made at any time.
ATTENTION: The chargeable weight will not be recalculated. The SUM of HAWBs is entered instead!
Set SCI customs status in the SMAWB
Just like in the Consol AWB, the field SCI is filled once you add the HAWBs.
The SMAWB is set to [T1] if at least 1 HAWB has the status [T1], otherwise: [X].Â
Set security status in the SMAWB
Just like in the Consol AWB, the security status in the field Security text on the AWB Main tab is inserted once you add the HAWBs - depending on the check variant.
You can change the text manually or via the dropdown list.
Create manifests
In the SMAWB you can also create manifests.
Open the F6 menu or the Layout tab.
The same reports as in the consol are available.
ZAPP Air - Customs clearance
For customs clearance, the program distinguishes between SMAWBs that you have received from partners and those that are sent to partners.
SMAWBs that you receive from partners
The export customs clearance is the responsibility of the partner.
When sending the consol to the ZAPP Air system (SMAWB is loaded in the consol), the SMAWBs and all HAWBs contained therein will be ignored.
No transport is sent.Â
The confirmation of departure must be issued by the partner as well.
ZAPP Air does not recognize the MRNs since partners may use systems other than ZAPP Air. Clearance is therefore not possible.
SMAWBs that are sent to partner
These are your customers. The SMAWB is to be treated like your own consol.
The clearance is therefore your responsibility.
Just like in the consol, you can send to ZAPP Air via the F6 menu (transport).
Transmit SMAWB to the airline
The transmission can be performed via Champ.
The system distinguishes between received and sent SMAWBs.
SMAWBs that you have received from partners
This SMAWB is loaded in your consol.
When sending your consol to the airline, the HAWBs within your SMAWB are sent as FHL.
The SMAWB itself is not transmitted.
Starting the transmission to the airline via the F6 menu in the SMAWB is not possible.
SMAWBs that you would like to send to partners
The details (FHL) are sent by the partner.
Starting the transmission via the F6 menu in the SMAWB is not possible.
Search for SMAWB files
There are two ways to search for SMAWB files.
Open the search for files.
Select File menu → Files → Search for files.Conduct the search in the Controlling menu with the fields AWB type and B/L/AWB type.
Since the SMAWB is basically a Master AWB, you can filter by AWB type [Master].
You can also filter by the field B/L/AWB type. Here you can directly search for SMAWBs.
Search for all files of a consol
The files that are loaded in a consol are the consol itself, HAWBs, SMAWB and HAWBs of the SMAWB.
Through the Carrier AWB number you can find all files loaded in the consol as well as all HAWBs that are loaded in the SMAWBs or MHAWBs.
Example
Consol with Carrier MAWB number 020 0001 3274
                               → Contained therein: SMAWB SUB4-1301-001
                                             → → Contained therein: HAWB KH1-01120055
Select the field Consol MAWB-No. in the dynamic search.
Enter no. 020 0001 3274.
The search result will show all 3 AWB numbers in the respective field (BL/AWB type) like described above.
