Shipment (SHPT)
The shipment represents the customer order.
When recording a shipment, all relevant data concerning this matter are entered.
This includes the shipper and consignee, the pick-up and delivery address, the customer, the invoice recipient and possibly a notify address and the carrier.
The start and destination routing is also determined in the shipment by means of hubs.
Tour (TOUR)
Shipments are summarized with routes of a tour.
This tour always has a definite start and a definite destination.
Start and destination of the tour are substantial for the routing of the shipment.
Route
As soon as a shipment is created and saved, a total distance about this shipment automatically develops in the background.
This total distance is divided into several subsections in the routing as soon as the shipment is disposed on tours.
These legs are afterwards disposed on additional tours or are created as soon as they are disposed on tours.
Every route can afterwards be added to a single customer order (see shipment).
A new file can also be created to invoice specifically for each department or branch.
Partial Shipment (SHPTP)
If a new order is created for a partial route, no SHPT is created for this but a SHPTP.
