Create Number range for NVE (label)

For the creation and use of the NVE number range, the following settings are necessary in the master data:

ADMIN → NUMBER RANGES

A number range with the month 0 and the year 0 must be created.

The description of the number range for NVE is freely selectable.

So-called dummy entries can be selected as the main and sub-divisions.

The number range must be defined per client.

In the Road area, the number range created for printing the NVE labels must be stored in the NVE field.

Services tab → Overview tab → Context menu → Send service order

When sending a service order via the FORTRAS interface, NVE labels are generated and sent.

The following setting in the service providers address is necessary for the transmission of the labels via Fortras to work:

The qualifier* FORLBL* must be stored in EDI references with reference specification=J.

When printing a report from the Forms tab of the service order.

If this is printed, always NVEs are generated, a NV relation must not necessarily be deposited here.

When printing, it is checked whether NVEs already exist.

If sent first, no new NVEs are created when printing.

The same applies if printing is done first, in which case no new NVEs are created when sending.

The number of NVEs is corrected when changing the goods or when sending/printing, so that always suitable NVEs are available for the existing packages.

ATTENTION: The report name must begin with NVE so that labels can be created and printed.

• NVEs are always created to match the respective services order.

• You should not print an additional NVE label (report) from the Forms tab. This would create new NVEs.
