Rule | The tour type can only be used if it is filled. If the tour type is filled in tour and route, these are compared when added. |
Rule | A route without tour type automatically receives the tour type of the tour which is added. |
Exeption DIR (COW/DOW)
Specific rules apply in case of a direct shipment.
In a direct shipment, the shipments are directly picked up at the shipper and directly delivered to the consignee, i.e. the shipment does not come in contact with any hubs.
When creating a direct shipment, the outbound and inbound hubs are always the same.
Please enter the hub responsible for the organisation of the transport.
Such DIR shipments or the routes are moved to tours in which the outbound and inbound hubs are also the same, matching those in the shipment.
If a DIR shipment is moved to a tour with unequal hubs, legs and remaining routes are created. The shipment is then no longer completely direct.
Exeption Import Shipments
In the order sector Import no pick up route is created if the customer order (G-distance) is moved to a main carriage tour, where the own branch is the inbound hub.
