Open booking from file
You can open the created booking via the context menu in the order:
If only one booking has been created for this file, this booking opens automatically.
If there are multiple bookings for the file, a search mask opens in the booking.
Send bookingÂ
Once all the data for the Ocean booking has been entered, it is possible to send.
The status changes to BOOKING REQUEST IN TRANSMISSION:Â
After having been sent the status is BOOKING REQUEST - SENT:
Cancel a booking
You can cancel a booking starting with status DAKOSY ACCEPTED and a status with value [CARRIER‑].
The booking itself is blocked for entry with this status.
Select Cancel booking from the local menu.
Attention: Carriers currently do not send confirmations of cancelations, except if the cancelation is issued by the carriers themselves.

Shortage of vessel cargo space
If it is difficult to get space on vessels in the Seafreight transport market, several bookings are created for one position, which are later assigned to other orders - namely, when a shipment can be placed on a particular vessel.
In OceanBooking, orders are linked to a file and the feedback from all bookings causes the carrier booking number in the order to be overwritten over and over again:
There is always only one booking that is active in one order.
If a booking is created from the file or linked to the file, the file number field in the booking header data is filled with the file number.
This establishes a link between the position and the booking.
If a confirmation from the shipping company for this booking is then imported via the interface, data is automatically transferred to the order (e.g. carrier booking number).
This link can be removed with the context menu entry Remove booking from file:
Thus, data reported back by the shipping company is no longer included in the position. Â Â
