Create booking via Seafreight menu 

Order → Seafreight menu → Booking button

To create a new booking,

  • select menu Seafreight → Booking and switch from the Search tab to the Edit tab,

  • select File → New or 

  • click the icon New in the quick launch bar.

The entry mask for the new booking opens. A CargoSoft booking number is assigned automatically.

Create booking in the order tab

Order → Header data tab → context menu entry

You also have the option to create a booking out of an order.

Open the context menu in the header data of the file and select the entry Create ocean booking.

The Oceanbooking tab opens.

All details from the order are pre-assigned.

→ The booking no. will be the CargoSoft file no. with a sequence number at the end.

Several bookings per file

The system issues an information if a booking has already been created for the order.

Messages and notifications

  • If an ocean booking is not linked to a file, the responses and notifications go to the user only - in case this is set in the basic data.

  • If a new booking is linked to a file, it is possible for the responsible person entered in this file to also receive emails - in addition to the user.
