Field Movement type in header data

Selecting the movement type in the header data, it is recognized whether the booking is for FCL or LCL shipments.

Thus the Customs paper and Stackable fields are activated AND the Dimensions sub-tab is displayed by selection one of the movement types

Customs paper

Select the paper from the dropdown menu.

2020.4: The list of customs papers was supplemented by the code T1 via the update script. It is a code entry in the database table codes_ext_t with type = EASBCUST.

Preassign field Movement type via carrier address

To pre-assign the movement type for a carrier, enter qualifier OCBMV in the EDI references sub tab in Addresses.

In the Reference field enter one of the codes

FF for FCL/FCL
FL for FCL/LCL
LF for LCL/FCL
LL for LCL/LCL
BB for BreakBulk
VE for Vehicle.

When selecting the carrier in ocean booking, the corresponding entry is preset.
If a carrier without stored EDI reference is selected, FCL/FCL will be preset.

Dimensions sub tab

Here you can enter the dimensions of the packages.

If you have created the booking out of an order, the recorded details are copied into the booking.

Pls remember, that the dimensions are read from a certain version of the goods description tab in the order.

Fields for LCL bookings on the Container tab

The following fields are added/modified to the Container tab of LCL shipments:

Addresses: Drop Off	LCL order types have the address 'Drop Off'. This address is available for the following movement types: LL (LCL/LCL) BB (BreakBulk) VE (Vehicle) The Drop Off address is located at the same place as the Pick Up address for container orders. The fields for the Drop Off address are cleared and disappear if you select another movement type.
Date/Time: time until	An additional time field is available for the address fields Ship from/to: time until. This field is available for the following movement types: LL (LCL/LCL) BB (BreakBulk) VE (Vehicle) These fields can be filled with a time. The time until field will disappear once you change the order type (Movement Type) to LF/FF/FL. You have the option to transmit time specifications in the address fields Ship from und Ship to for LCL shipments in the ocean booking.
Ship from	The Ship from field is declared as a mandatory field depending on the service type in the header data: Door to Door Door to Pier Door to Ramp If the fields pick-up date to and arrival final to in the transport tab are filled, they are initialized for the Door/Door and Movement type LCL/LCL in ocean booking and are preallocated in the fields ship from and ship to.
Ship to	The Ship to field is declared as a mandatory field depending on the service type in the header data: Pier to Door If the fields pick-up date to and arrival final to in the transport tab are filled, they are initialized for the Door/Door and Movement type LCL/LCL in ocean booking and are preallocated in the fields ship from and ship to.
