Function in the order

ADMIN → EDI → EDI PARTNER

EcoTransIT - recipient of our data - is recorded as an EDI partner (ETW).

  • If data is to be transmitted manually via the XML-to-partner function, an additional EDI partner (CO2) is required for this.

The EDI partners are automatically supplied by CargoSoft when the interface is set up.

ADDRESSES → ADDRESSES → General tab → Classification sub tab

If the CO2 emission calculation is to be triggered by defined addresses in the order, the value CO2 is stored as classification.

ADMIN → EDI → EDI code conversions

The standard EDI code conversions are automatically delivered by CargoSoft when the interface is set up (transport mode truck, rail, barge).

If other terms are used for these modes of transport, e.g. BiSchi for barge, this term must be translated in the EDI code conversion for the interface.

ORDER → TYPE OF TRANSPORT 

In this master data function, the modes of transport are entered that are available for selection in the mode of transport field on the Transport tab in the order.

ADMIN → STATUS TYPES → STATUS EVENTS

The status events are automatically delivered by CargoSoft when the interface is set up.

Automatic email notification

If an automatic e-mail notification is to be generated when a status message is received from EcoTransIT, the e-mail address must be stored in the field Mailing list for info for the provider ECOTRANSIT for the desired status code.

Set status in the order

In order for a corresponding status to be displayed in the order, a status type must be entered and then selected accordingly in status events.

In the status events, the status type CO2 for the provider ECOTRANSIT is entered in the field Status type.

ADMIN → CS ADMIN → CS CODES EXT

The relevant CS Codes Ext entries are automatically supplied by CargoSoft when the interface is set up.

CO2_CALCULATION

General activation of the emission calculation (always necessary).

CO2_CALCULATION_ALL_SHIPMENTS

Emission calculation only for files with classified address.

CO2_CHECK_ETD

Emission calculation is only carried out when the ETD date has been recorded in the file.

CO2_CHECK_ATD

Emission calculation is only carried out when the ATD date has been recorded in the file.
