ATTENTION: The order memo must not be confused with the ADDRESS MEMO. The corresponding icon looks the same and is displayed next to every address.

Authorization objects

AUFMEMOEIG	Edit and delete memos with own login - Upon activation this object is automatically added to all authorization profiles with object AUFTRAG.
AUFMEMOALL	Edit and delete all memos - The administrator can individually add this object to authorization profiles.

The order memo is located in the quick launch bar and in the file menu for the order.

Use the memo feature

The order memo icon, a speech bubble on white background, is located in the file menu. Click once to open.

The order memo opens automatically when you open a file if the function Show memo is activated in the employee options.

Memos are not saved until the memo mask is closed with the Save button.

The user who opens an existing memo in the new version and saves via the Save button is automatically entered as the creator of the memo.

Create multiple order memos

The memo function allows the user to add further memos on the left side of the mask via the context menu. Login, date and time of day are saved as well.

Here you can also delete memos. Please note the required authorizations.

Number of characters

The maximum number of characters for the order memo has been increased for the following databases:

Informix: 16,000 characters
MySQL: 16,000 characters
Oracle: 2,000 characters

Use the memo function for Consol ↔ HAWB & HBL

Using the memo function, you can add order memos from the consol file to the HAWB/HBL and vice versa from the HAWB-/HBL file to the consol file.

This requires the use of the alternative memo function (basic data COMPANY → GENERAL COMPANY PARAMETER → Order data 2).

Open order memo

Depending on the file type (HAWB/HBL oder Consol), you can select further files on the Selection file sub tab in which you would like the memo to be displayed.

For a consol file, this tab lists all house files available on the Consolidation tab.
Activate the checkbox(es) to add the memo to the HAWB/HBL files.

Use the context menu to activate all HBLs at once:

Please note: Memos will not disappear if an HBL is removed from a consol and added to another. The memos remain.
