Types of transport in Oceanbooking

In the Oceanbooking, the code entries for the modes of transport also come from this basic data table Type of transport (vkart_t).

Please note that the description must NOT be changed since it is relevant for the transmission of the oceanbooking to the carrier.

Most carriers are able to receive these transport types. Please make sure that your carriers process the mentioned codes for pre- and oncarriage.

The types of transport include the field Mode of transport Oceanbooking.

For existing data entries with the description

the new field is pre-assigned by the update script.

In the case of individually named modes of transport, the field Oceanbooking transport mode must be filled according to the OceanBooking specification.

The entry from the field transport mode Oceanbooking is pre-assigned in the field transport mode when the booking is generated from the order.

Only entries in which the new field is filled can be selected in Oceanbooking.
