Address types in ADDRESSES

Authorization object: STAADRTYP

The address type must be recorded in basic data ADDRESSEN → ADDRESS TYPES to be available in an address.

These are a kind of roles or classifications that are explained in more precise in the documentation of the corresponding programs.

It is also connected with the field Global ID.

When accepting the address type from the search result, both Adress type as well as Global ID are filled.

Field Global ID

A freely editable field. It can be used if there is a global corporate group number or description for the address that can be accepted or transmitted upon data exchange.
