Standard software ↔ Customer codes

CargoSoft is a standard software. A standard software is a system that covers a well-defined scope of application and that can be purchased as a prefabricated product.

Specific cases of application may require the implementation of special or even uncommon company processes that are not achievable with a standard software. Thus far CargoSoft has developed individual programmings which were a major cost factor and limited the clarity of the program flow.

CargoSoft has now developed a standardized solution for the use of specific basic data in the order processing: customer codes.

Data, texts, descriptions, values, etc. can now be recorded, separated by different groups, via a basic data program

Another basic data program allows these data to be linked with additional fields.
These fields can be equipped with individual properties such as search masks, required fields or basic data access.

The additional tab provides access to these basic data from the order processing. This simplifies the data entry and enables statistical data evaluations.

Configuration of Customer codes

This must be configured in two places of the program.

• At first, the data themselves must be entered.

• Secondly, these data must be integrated into the customer specific additional fields tab in the order.

The individual data must be entered in the Customer codes program.

A search mask opens upon starting the program.

Open

Here you can enter search criteria to narrow down the search result.

Press F3 to start the search. The search result is displayed on the Result tab.

Select menu File → New or use the key combination CTRL+N to open the entry mask.
